The Admin panel is a page in the client review interface where you can view and manage the client review tasks for all your ongoing projects. Every user with a client reviewer account will have access to this view. Here, tasks can be monitored and assigned to users matching the conditions for the language pair.
To access this page, login to http://clientreview.unbabel.com and select the Admin panel tab. Once on the page, you can see a table where each row corresponds to an active project. If you click on a row, you will see all files with a client review step that belong to that project.
A file can be in several statuses:
- To do: The file is waiting to be claimed by a client reviewer.
- In progress: The file has been claimed by a client reviewer (the reviewer’s user name is displayed in the corresponding column).
- Submitted: The file has gone through the client review step and has been submitted by the client reviewer.
- Cancelled: The client review step has been cancelled via via Admin panel or the entire translation flow has been canceled via a backoffice tool.
After all files in the project have been submitted, the project is no longer visible in the client review interface, but you can see it in the Portal.
Below the Ongoing Projects title, you can see the time when the Admin panel tab was last updated. You can refresh the update time by clicking on the last update info.
Sorting and Filtering
Filtering: You can filter files by the following parameters:
- Language pair
- File status
- Reviewer
All projects that contain at least one file meeting the search criteria will be displayed.
If you switch between the Language Pairs and the Admin Panel, the filter selection will be preserved. However, refreshing the browser will reset the filters to their defaults.
Search: You can search by file and project name using the search option. We will return any partial match for a file name or a project name.
Expand/Collapse all projects: This button allows you to quickly view or collapse all the files in all projects.
Sorting: Files within each project can be sorted by language pair, number of words, file name (alphabetically), the assigned reviewer (if any), and status. Clicking once on the column label arrow will sort A>Z, clicking twice will sort Z>A, and clicking three times will restore the original order.
Assigning and unassigning client reviews
You can choose specific reviewers to work on your files by assigning and unassigning them to specific tasks, helping you streamline coordination when working with multiple client reviewers per language pair and shorten your delivery deadlines based on your reviewer's availability.
Assigning a reviewer
1 - Select the Admin Panel tab in clientreview.unbabel.com.
2 - Expand a project row to view the list of files.
3 - Locate a file with want to assign. You can assign files under To do status or reassign files under the In Progress status.
4 - Click on the 3 dots button to open the dropdown with more actions.
5 - Click on the Assign/Reassign option.
6 - A modal will appear allowing you to search for a reviewer by name or email.
7 - Select the reviewer and click Assign.
Once assigned, the file will:
- Move to the In progress status.
- Be hidden from the "To do" list of other reviewers.
- Display the assigned reviewer’s name in the corresponding column.
When a task is assigned, the client reviewer receives an email notification with the identification of the project and a direct link to open the task in Polyglot.
Unassigning or re-assigning a reviewer
An assigned review is not visible for other reviewers to pick up, so in case the original reviewer is not available to complete the task, you can remove it from their queue.
1 - Go to the Admin Panel and locate the relevant file.
2 - Click the Unassign button in the “Reviewer” column.
3 - The file will return to To do status and become visible to all reviewers again.
Alternatively, you can choose Reassign to and select the new reviewer from the list of available users.
When a review is removed from a user and assigned to another, the task becomes unavailable for the user to pick up and the user remains free to select a different task.
Cancelling a client review
You can cancel a pending client review. Check this article for information on how to do it.
