Features
HTML support
You can request an outbound translations while including HTML. As such, your messages can be personalized to include images, emojis, and basic text formatting such as italic, bold, etc, as in a regular Intercom Message.
Limitations
Character limits for a translation
While we are working to increase the limit of characters contained in a single message, we are currently limited to 5000 of these. If a message goes over this limit, we will still translate it, however, we will truncate the first part of the message until it fits within the limit.
A truncated message can be identified since it appears to only contain the last part of what you or the end user originally sent.
If you're message is already long, and contains HTML (especially hyperlinks), you may wish to consider splitting it in multiple parts.
Intercom tickets
Currently, Unbabel for Intercom only works for the Conversation object on Intercom. Translations inside tickets (or once a conversation is converted to a ticket) are not supported.
