If you are enforcing IP restrictions on your Salesforce organization, you will need to whitelist the Unbabel IPs. This will happen at two levels: Network Access settings and Profile-level restrictions.
Network Settings
If you are restricting IPs in your Salesforce Network settings, you will need to whitelist the Unbabel IPs. This is necessary to receive the output of your translation requests, as Unbabel makes a call to your SF organization and needs to be listed as authorized. The call can come from any of the Unbabel IPs, so it's necessary to whitelist them all.
To add the Unbabel IPs, head to Setup > Network Settings and add our IPs to the list.
Profile restrictions
Profile restrictions do not affect the translation activity. However, the authentication Oauth method used by the Unbabel app is considered a login action, therefore the System Admin (or another profile installing and managing the Connected App) needs to whitelist the Unbabel IPs if IPs are being restricted.
To do this:
1 - Open the profile settings and click on Login IP Ranges.
2 - The example below is a profile without restrictions. If you already enforce them, please add the Unbabel IPs to the list and click Save.
If you do not whitelist the Unbabel IPs, we may fail to refresh the app token and break the API connection to your organization, leading to failures to delivering translations and the inability to re-authenticate the app.
How to get the Unbabel IPs
For security matters we won't expose the IPs public. Reach out to your POC at Unbabel or customer.happiness@unbabel.com to obtain them.
